Is Dual Occupancy the Same as Subdivision?
Not quite. Dual occupancy is about building two dwellings on the same lot. Subdivision is about splitting the land into two legal titles. You can build a dual occupancy without subdividing, but if you do go through with subdivision, each dwelling will sit on its own title, which makes them easier to sell individually.
