WHAT IS TERRESTRIAL LASER SCANNING & REALITY CAPTURE?

Terrestrial Laser Scanning is like having a super-accurate 3D camera that captures incredibly detailed images of buildings, objects, or landscapes. It uses lasers to measure distances and angles, creating a digital 3D map of real-world spaces. Reality Capture takes it a step further, blending these scans with photos for immersive, lifelike visualisations. Together, they provide businesses and professionals with a strategic advantage.

At CEH Consulting, we bridge the gap between vision and reality by combining aerial views from drones and ground-level 3D laser scanning. Utilising TLS technology, we eliminate the need for our surveyors to physically access hazardous areas physically, thereby substantially reducing on-site duration, shutdowns, and equipment costs. We apply our scanning expertise across various sectors, including infrastructure, mining, engineering, construction, and plant projects, ensuring a broad range of applications for our advanced surveying capabilities.

CEH Consulting helped us during a first time doing a house construction and subdivision. All the staff were great but Matt Smith in particular carried out all of the required surveys, redefinition plan, CDC approval, land title paperwork etc. very professionally and in a timely manner. He also offered general advice that looking back really helped us in the process as it's a bit confusing if you haven't done it before. We definitely wouldn't have gotten the project wrapped up in the timeframe we did without Matt and the CEH team. Would highly recommend.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Matthew and the team at CEH Consulting. My wife and I are based on the NSW South Coast and have used CEH Consulting for surveying work. Unlike some of the other local surveyors we approached, Matthew provided a quote for the work quickly and the quote was really fair and reasonable.Once we accepted the quote, the team was on-site shortly after and the surveying was completed a lot faster than we expected. The surveying team were very polite and courteous, and easy to deal with. The surveying plans/documents produced were spot on, with no issues. When I had to drop off the signed documents to the CEH office (while wrangling a very grumpy two-year old!), the reception staff were wonderful and really helpful, even getting the door for us on the way out.Throughout the entire process, Matthew and the team were responsive in their communication and very efficient. With Matthew's experience in the industry, he was able to guide us along the way, which was greatly appreciated given our inexperience.Overall, for anyone undertaking a subdivision/development and seeking quality service, we could not recommend CEH Consulting more highly. Thank you for a hassle-free experience

Very happy with the service provided by CEH. We needed a detail survey of our entire lot which contains many retaining walls, trees and difficult to access parts. I submitted a request to quote on 21 August 2023, inspection took place 8 Sept 2023 and we received the survey on 20 September 2023. I obtained 3 quotes and CEH were by far the best value. The report formats are PDF and .DWG files which I can now provide to the design engineers. I would use CEH again and will be recommending CEH to my friends and family.
